Phylicia is the owner/operator of Skyward Pines Equestrian Center. She is a hardworking and dedicated instructor and trainer. She has experience in Hunter/Jumper, Dressage, Speed Events and Western. Having competed in these events as well as Showmanship makes her a very well rounded instructor. Most of the horses that Phylicia has shown she has trained.

 

Phylicia was raised with horses and started riding as soon as she could sit on a horse. She started showing horses by the age of three in local horse shows. While showing horses she became involved in 4-H and competed in Horse Bowl, Demonstrations and Presentations, and 4-H Horse Shows competing at several different levels.

After High School Phylicia served her country by joining the Marine Corps. After her time in the Military, Phylicia went to Meredith Manor International Equestrian College. She specialized in Show Jumping and Dressage as a trainer as well as an instructor. Phylica graduated with high honors as a Riding Masters III certification. Phylica has worked at her mother's farm for several years as an instructor and trainer which has helped her master her ability to prepare both horse and rider for any level of competition.
